Placements with Chissock Woodcraft and Chissock Woodsave are open to all those who are recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. Due to the nature of the work we do, we are only able to take those in abstinence. Trainees and volunteers do not necessarily have to take part in our skills for recovery programme. We try as far as possible to adapt the work to the individual.

There are a number of opportunities to take part in accredited programmes and we also offer general training that is structured to benefit our trainees/volunteers. Participants will be encouraged to take part in the different activities involved in the work place.

As an integral part of our work we try to help our beneficiaries to re-build what are often damaged lives. Each person is given individual work supervision and, where possible, we offer help and advice on issues that may hinder a person’s recovery process.

Agencies and individuals interested can contact us for more information.
